Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there’s a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

As our Pursuits Host, you will be the face of Outdoor Pursuits team around the estate and operate the adventure desk on a daily basis to ensure there is always a presence to assist guests with their every need. You will have a passion for guest services and take great satisfaction in creating memorable experiences for our members and hotel guests.

Diverse, outgoing, and welcoming, you will have an inherent desire to create unique and incredible experiences for both our hotel guests and our members. We work hard, get stuck in and have fun. You will be comfortable to assist in any way necessary to help with the day to day running of the Pursuits team, which may range from managing bookings, hosting in the adventure lodge to delivering Little Land Rover experiences when required.

Who we are looking for:

• Reception, sales, front office, concierge or guest services experience. Any experience of these disciplines within a hotel or outdoor activity environment would be advantageous.
• Any experience or passion in sports, leisure or outdoor pursuits would be ideal.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Confident computer user with the ability to jump in with both feet and learn new systems.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, senior management and guests alike.

The on target earning potential for this role is £33,804.80 per annum per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £30,804.80, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly at £14.81 so this is a projected salary and OTE.

About gratuities & service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro‑rata basis regardless of your role.
• It is estimated that in 2026, our full‑time employees can expect to receive in the range of £3,000 in addition to their annual salary.
