The Role:

We are seeking a Shift Engineer to provide support with ensuring all areas within Estelle Manor are consistently maintained to the highest standards. Working in a team of engineers and reporting to a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for routine maintenance to limit equipment breakdowns and repairs needed, ensuring the premises are kept in immaculate condition and remain functional at all times.

Who we are looking for?

  • Experience of providing maintenance support in a hospitality or luxury facilities environment.
  • Practical experience in DIY, property maintenance, or related fields, with the ability to carry out general repair and upkeep tasks confidently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to get on with a diverse range of people. You can quickly understand, influence, and negotiate, as well as document and explain complex requirements to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset and hugely charismatic.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work on a four on four off shift pattern including both days and nights.

The on target earning potential for this role is £42,140 per annum - compromising a base salary of £39,140 plus an estimated £3,000 in service charge and gratuities.

About gratuities & service charge:

  • Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
