Enness Global is a global high net worth mortgage brokerage, with a well-established office in Jersey alongside its London Mayfair headquarters. Its business in the UK is regulated by the FCA, and it has a wider international presence across Dubai, Switzerland and France.
The Mortgage Broker at Enness works directly with clients and lenders to source, structure and manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring every case is handled compliantly and to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will also be appointed Director of Enness’ Jersey office and they will take commercial and operational ownership of the local business – driving revenue growth, building the firm’s network and brand across the Channel Islands, and owning the office P&L – alongside the associated governance and statutory responsibilities.
This role requires excellent numerical, organisational and communication skills, together with sound judgement when assessing client affordability and lender criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with various lenders to find the best deal for the client
- Act as an intermediary between a lender and a borrower
- Evaluate pay slips, credit history, tax information and bank statements for financial status
- Work to ensure compliance with banking and/or finance laws
- Follow through with lender and client during approval process
- Define repayment terms to customer and educate them on default consequences
- Processing the application and collating all required documentation

Jersey Office Directorship
- Generate revenue for the Jersey office from mortgage broking and other Enness business lines
- Build and maintain a network of introducers, professional connections and high net worth contacts across the Channel Islands to drive new business
- Develop and promote the Enness brand locally, representing the firm at industry events and within the local business community
- Build and own the Jersey office P&L, taking responsibility for revenue, costs and overall profitability against budget
- Attend and actively contribute to board meetings, providing input on strategy, performance and key business decisions for the Jersey office
- Act in accordance with statutory director duties under Jersey company law, including the duty to act in good faith and in the best interests of the company
- Ensure the Jersey office meets its statutory filing obligations, including annual returns and maintenance of the register of directors and other company registers
- Act as a point of contact with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) where required, supporting the office’s ongoing regulatory compliance
- Work with the Compliance Director / MLRO and Chief Financial Officer to support adherence to Jersey AML/CFT and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Review and, where authorised, sign statutory, financial and regulatory documents on behalf of the Jersey entity
- Provide local oversight of the Jersey office’s day-to-day operations, escalating material risks or issues to the wider Enness board
- Support recruitment, management and oversight of Jersey-based staff where applicable
