An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced electrician to step into a rewarding training role delivering electrical courses in Slough. This position is suited to a credible industry professional looking to pass on their knowledge through practical, hands-on instruction. The ideal candidate will be a time-served installation electrician with strong on-the-tools experience and the confidence to train others based on real-world knowledge. Teaching qualifications are welcome but not required – what matters is competence, credibility, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver electrical training courses to delegates in a classroom and workshop setting

  • Present technical content clearly, drawing from personal experience in the field

  • Support and guide learners through the training process

  • Carry out practical demonstrations for single and three-phase systems

  • Deliver Inspection & Testing and 18th Edition (2382) content confidently

  • Ensure training materials are delivered accurately and in line with relevant standards

  • Maintain high levels of engagement and knowledge transfer

Preferred Ideal Experience & Skills Required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Based within commutable distance to Livingston

  • Fully qualified Installation Electrician – Level 3 (NVQ or equivalent)

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382)

  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391)

  • Hands-on experience with both single and three-phase systems

  • Experience on the tools across domestic, commercial or industrial sectors

  • Strong communication skills with a confident and credible delivery style
