An Assistant Site Manager is required for a residential development in the Rushden area of Northamptonshire.

This position would suit an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is ready to take greater responsibility and progress into a Site Manager role.

Working for an established medium-sized residential contractor, you will support the successful delivery of new-build housing projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The company is looking for someone dependable with a stable employment history and at least two to three years experience in residential construction.

Key

Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of residential construction projects. * Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain programme deadlines. * Monitor workmanship and ensure completed work meets the required quality standards. * Conduct site inspections and identify defects or potential delays. * Maintain high standards of health and safety across the development. * Assist with short-term programme planning and resource coordination. * Manage site records including inspections and progress reports. * Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams. * Support customer care activities and the timely resolution of defects. * Take increasing responsibility for sections of the development as your experience grows.
