Based in Bristol, we are ideally positioned to supply equipment and services across a large section of the UK.

Position Summary

This position will be based within a busy Hire and Production department.

Working to exceed customer expectations for clients requiring full production services, you will be there to help deliver their ideas.

Reporting to the Head of Hire & Production, you will join a team of managers in delivering outstanding customer service to all.

£30-40k per annum. Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all enquiries are responded to and followed up in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer expectations whilst maintaining and growing customer relationships.
  • Transform customer requirements into formal concepts and quotes using our chosen project management software.
  • Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety, including preparation of RAMS, creating and sharing PAT/LOLER certificates, undertaking site visits to identify risks, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of a project, including the allocation of resources such as freelancers, sub-hired equipment etc.
  • Work closely with customers, freelancers and colleagues, maintaining excellent levels of communication with all parties, from concept to on‑site delivery and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Invoicing for dry hires and productions in a timely fashion, in line with the customers’ account payment terms.
  • Seek and develop new business relationships and contacts and follow up new leads.
  • About the candidate
  • Must have a good understanding of a wide range of technical production equipment and practise.
  • Experience in fault‑finding temporary installations quickly and efficiently.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Have some experience of CAD package such as Vectorworks, Auto CAD or WYSIWYG (Desirable – Training available)
  • Hold power, rigging and plant qualifications IE BS7909, IPAF Etc. (Desirable – Training available)

Employment will be conditional upon a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (due to our relationships with schools) along with satisfactory references.

Your primary place of work will be Enlightened Head Office in Brislington, Bristol.

Our usual hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5.30 pm.

We are closed on weekends and Bank Holidays.

Your time will be shared between customer sites and Enlightened Head Office in Bristol.

Staying away from home on location may occasionally be required.

You will be required to work overtime at busy times of the year as required. We operate a ‘time off in lieu’ (TOIL) policy for any hours worked above your contracted hours.
