Mechanical/Civil Supervisor
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Mechanical/Civil Supervisor to lead the construction, installation, and operation of solar projects.

You’ll help deliver high-quality solar projects while keeping safety, budgets, and deadlines on track.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are safe, on time, and within budget.
- Make sure all work follows health and safety regulations
- Lead and support site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot any on-site challenges to keep everything on schedule.
- Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and clients for smooth project updates.
- Carry out site inspections to check on progress, safety, and compliance.
- Manage reports on timelines, safety, budget, and quality standards.
- Track equipment, materials, and resource inventory on-site.
- Advocate for sustainable best practices on all solar installations.
Requirements
- A proven track record managing solar or renewable energy sites.
- SSSTS certification is required. (or SMSTS)
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Construction Site Supervision
- A valid CSCS card and UK driving licence.
- CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
- Organized and results-driven, even under pressure.
- Experience with construction management software or similar tools is a bonus
