Our client is a fast-growing global influencer marketing agency that helps some of the world’s leading brands connect with their audiences through creators, platforms and culture.
They are looking for a Senior Strategist to independently lead strategic workstreams from initial brief through to final recommendation.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that will see you uncover meaningful cultural and behavioural insights and translate them into clear creator, content and platform strategies.
What the Senior Strategist will be doing
- Lead the strategy: Independently manage strategic workstreams across client briefs, campaigns and new-business opportunities.
- Find the real challenge: Interrogate briefs to identify the underlying business, audience or behavioural problem.
- Turn insight into opportunity: Use audience, cultural, category, competitor and performance intelligence to develop distinctive strategic recommendations.
- Shape creator strategy: Define the role creators should play, including the right communities, cohorts, tiers and content approaches.
- Build compelling narratives: Connect the challenge, insight, creator role and creative direction into a clear and persuasive strategic story.
- Partner with clients: Present and defend recommendations confidently while acting as a trusted strategic partner.
- Contribute to growth – Play a key role across pitches, RFPs and longer-term client proposals.
What the Senior Strategist should bring
- Senior strategy experience: You have at least five years’ relevant experience and are already operating at Senior Strategist level.
- Strong agency background: You have worked across a varied portfolio of brands, categories and client challenges.
- Creator expertise: You have independently led creator, influencer, social or content strategies and understand creator communities, platforms and measurement.
- Cultural intelligence: You can turn research, audience behaviour and cultural trends into a distinctive strategic point of view.
- Client confidence: You are comfortable presenting and defending recommendations with senior stakeholders.
- New-business experience: You have contributed substantially to pitches and understand how to turn insight into a persuasive commercial opportunity.
- Global exposure: You have experience working with international brands and audiences, with US-market exposure particularly valuable.
