We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in providing guidance and support to children. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in similar settings such as Teaching Assistant, Youth Work, Family Support Work, Behaviour Mentor or Children's Residential Support Work. We are working with Mainstream Primary schools in Allenton, Derby, focusing on long-term and permanent employment, meaning that you return to the same school every day, therefore offering consistency not only to staff, but for the students also, with often this resulting in you transferring across onto the school's contract. Working with such a range of different school settings means that we have endless opportunities to suit exactly what you are looking for aligning with your skillset and experience. Responsibilities

  • Provide mentoring and support to students.
  • Adapting learning materials to suit each student's learning styles.
  • Foster a positive learning environment through interactive activities.
  • Assist with behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions, including de-escalating and re-directing behaviours.
  • Monitor and track progress of children's development.
