We are seeking an experienced and passionate Motor Vehicle Tutor to join an Alternative provision in Derby. Working with small groups of students, you will deliver engaging teaching and training across a range of Motor Vehicle programmes, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for successful careers in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based lessons in Motor Vehicle subjects. Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources. Assess student progress through practical observations, assignments, and portfolio evidence. Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their full potential. Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships, qualifications, and industry expectations. Support students with individual learning needs and work collaboratively with support teams. About You A Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant Motor Vehicle discipline. Significant industry experience within the automotive sector. Passion for supporting and motivating learners. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to deliver engaging practical and classroom-based learning.
