Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential? We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a welcoming and supportive SEND school in the Derby area. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply work, with exciting potential for long-term positions from September.

The Role

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.
  • Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and social development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
  • Is patient, caring and adaptable.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children's learning.
  • Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
