Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with additional needs? Enlightenment Education is looking for a dedicated and resilient Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant to work within primary, secondary schools and SEND across Derby. This is an incredibly rewarding role supporting pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional and social support to help them access education successfully.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, Autism and challenging behaviour.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence.
- Support pupils to regulate their emotions and develop positive behaviour strategies.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to implement behaviour support plans.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs, SEMH or SEND.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and passionate about helping children succeed.
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
