We are an independent supply agency working with a range of primary and secondary schools, providing dedicated staff to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. We are currently seeking confident, resilient and proactive individuals to work with children and young people who present with challenging behaviour across both primary and secondary settings. This is a rewarding role for those who are passionate about making a real difference in students' engagement, wellbeing, and learning outcomes.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (SEMH)
  • Working 1:1 with students or supporting small groups
  • Assisting in managing behaviour both in and out of the classroom
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and re-engage with learning
  • Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SEN departments
  • Placements across mainstream schools, SEN provisions, and behaviour hubs

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
  • Backgrounds in youth work, sports coaching, care, mentoring, security, or similar roles are highly transferable
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent and professional manner
  • A resilient, patient and positive approach
  • Strong ability to build rapport and trust with pupils

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can assist)
  • Two professional references covering the last two years
  • Right to work in the UK
