Science Technician Required - Immediate Start
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Science Technician to join one of our schools team immediately.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Science Department by preparing practical resources, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring health and safety compliance, and assisting teaching staff with lesson preparation.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and setting up practical experiments
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and materials
- Supporting health and safety procedures
- Managing stock and ordering resources
- Assisting teachers and students during practical activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a science laboratory or educational setting is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
