We are currently on the look our for a Speech and Language Therapist to work with a Special needs school based in the Barking & Dagenham area: As a SALT you will be responsible for the below: * Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine pupils’ speech and language needs. * Identify areas of difficulty and develop individualized therapy plans to address communication challenges. * Provide direct therapy services to pupils, both individually and in group settings, to support the development of speech, language, and communication skills. * Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of each pupil. * Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the pupils’ educational plans. * Provide guidance and support to staff on implementing communication strategies and facilitating language development within the school environment. * Monitor pupil progress through ongoing assessment and data collection. * Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and pupil outcomes. * Prepare regular progress reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. This role will be a long term contract covering matternity leave and We are needing someone who can work part time (Up to 3 Days a week) Pay rate will depend on experience: Must have: * Experience in the UK as a Speech and Language Therapist * HCPC Registered * Experience working in Complex Learning Disablities as a SALTpreferably in a School or Education setting * Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Speech and Language Therapy If this sounds like a great fit for your self please send your application over and We look forward to hearing from you
