MFL Teacher required
Are you a qualified Modern Foreign Language Teacher (MFL Teacher) seeking a permanent role as soon as possible? Are you looking for an opportunity to not only educate and motivate students but to grow within your role? If the above apply to you then we have an opportunity that we would like to speak to you about.
A secondary school situated in Hackney is looking to appoint a new MFL Teacher to cover a maternity position on a fixed-term contract. Ideally, they would like the applicant to have experience in teaching Spanish or French, but other languages may be considered.
Applications are welcome from both NQTs and experienced MFL Teachers.

Responsibilities
- Adhering to the school\’s policies and procedures
- Providing pupils with feedback and encouraging the use of different techniques to enable them to grasp languages quicker
- Assisting in the department with preparing resources and arranging trips to support studies
- Meeting with pupils\’ parents/carers to discuss academic progress at parents\’ evenings or any ECHP plans
Requirements
- A QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong behaviour management skills
- An enhanced DBS that is on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS
- Strong ability in planning and preparing your own lessons in accordance with the curriculum
- Ability to speak at least two languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian)
