Part-Time Social Media Executive – Football Content
Location: North West London
Hours: ~10 hours per week (including up to 4 hours of evening filming, 1–2 days/week)
Rate: £15–£20 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Executive to help capture, create, and manage social media content that brings our football club to life online. You will be responsible for filming, editing and posting engaging content across social platforms, showcasing match action, behind-the-scenes moments, players, training and fan engagement. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves to film and edit, understands social media trends, and enjoys creating video content that connects with supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Filming & Capture
- Attend scheduled filming sessions (evening sessions 1–2 days per week for up to 4 hours)
- Capture video content of matches, training, club activities, player features, and off-pitch moments
- Editing & Production
- Edit footage into engaging short-form videos suited for Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms
- Add graphics, music, captions, and branding where appropriate
- Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and post content on club social channels
- Manage day-to-day social activity, including captions, hashtags, and posting formats
- Monitor platform performance and help grow online audiences
- Creative Contribution
- Bring fresh creative ideas for new formats, challenges, features, and fan engagement content
- Stay up-to-date with emerging football content trends and social media best practices
Skills & Experience:
- Experience filming and editing video content for social media
- Comfortable using editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut, InShot, Final Cut, etc.)
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.)
- Creative mindset with an eye for football storytelling and trends
- Ability to work independently, organise your time, and hit deadlines
- Appreciation for football culture and understanding what engages fans
