Enlighten Supply Pool are working with a secondary school in Slough who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Manager to start ASAP or in September. This is a full-time long term to permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and manage daily staff cover (teaching and non-teaching)
- Play a key role in the recruitment process for long term and permanent appointments
- Manage a budget effectively
- Deliver lessons using pre-prepared materials to full classes
- Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
- Support continuity of learning by liaising with returning staff
Key Requirements
- Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to communicate effectively
- Strong ICT skills
- Good command of English
- Previous experience as a Cover Manager or working within the HR department of schools
