School Cover Manager About the Cover Manager Position Enlighten Supply Pool are working with a secondary school in Haringey who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Manager to start in September. This is a full-time long term to permanent position. Key Responsibilities * Organise and manage daily staff cover (teaching and non-teaching) * Play a key role in the recruitment process for long term and permanent appointments * Manage a budget effectively * Deliver lessons using pre-prepared materials to full classes * Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment * Support continuity of learning by liaising with returning staff Key Requirements * Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to communicate effectively * Strong ICT skills * Good command of English * Previous experience as a Cover Manager or working within the HR department of schools This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in the smooth running of a dynamic school environment. It is also an opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience for those seeking a career in teaching as well as for experienced cover supervisors looking for a new challenge!
