Wealth management places more weight in providing personal services to high net worth individuals. Whether our clients are new to investing or have years of experience, we have a strategy for them, and we never stop moving forward. They come to our Wealth Management business because they recognize that we operate at a level above the rest. This is a growth business for us, and we’re going all-in on the people who make our business what it is.

This includes connecting our employees with the communities we serve and striving to meet sustainable goals we’ve set for the firm. Many of our employees admit they didn’t expect to stay at RBC for long. But we gave them the opportunity to see what a career in banking could look like. With an eye towards the latest tech, diverse teams and ground-breaking ideas, everyone has a chance to make their mark.

Wealth managers should expect to interact with their client’s staff on a pretty frequent basis. This would mostly be for operational things though like completing paperwork or following up on some transactions. In addition to this, there are likely going to be detailed monthly or quarterly meetings where the client’s portfolio is reviewed, and major tweaks are agreed upon. If you decide to start with a smaller regional bank, you can expect to reach the front-end client engagement role a lot sooner than with a large global bank.

As a global financial services firm, Morgan Stanley is committed to technological innovation. We rely on our technologists around the world to create leading-edge, secure platforms for all our businesses. A private banker will usually focus on one key service, most are involved in relationship management, with a smaller number in investment roles. Due to the concentration of wealth in the area, most private banking jobs in the UK are based in London; however, satellite jobs in other key cities around the country are also available.

CTWM is currently hiring a Client Service Specialist with innate customer service skills who can support a team of financial advisors. We are seeking an energetic professional with excellent organization and communication skills who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats.
