This Shipping Lawyer position with eNL in Tyne And Wear offers a full-time contract and a salary of £50,000 to £65,000 per annum.

What we’re looking for
Newly qualified Solicitors (NQ+) or those with post-qualification experience, with strong analytical ability, clear communication and sound legal research skills. Strong academics and a good understanding of commercial disputes are required. Excellent communication skills, team working and a keen interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development are essential.
The role
You’ll be involved in a broad range of shipping and maritime matters, including:
- Recoveries, vessel arrests and bills of lading disputes
- Sanction checks
- Preparing and reviewing standard terms and conditions
- Advising a varied client base, including P&I Clubs, shipping companies, freight forwarders, ports and terminals
You’ll work closely with senior colleagues on complex matters, gaining valuable experience and developing your technical expertise.
