THE ROLE: This recognised firm is seeking a lawyer with a strong background in professional regulation to join its thriving Regulatory department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cases for hearings, working in collaboration with advocates, assessing concerns and risks to develop case plans and advise on the necessity of interim orders. The role also includes preparing reports, drafting allegations, and keeping both the client and individuals under investigation regularly informed of progress. Additionally, you will conduct regulatory litigation, appeals, and applications to higher courts, as well as provide broader regulatory advice.
THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE with professional regulatory experience, ideally gained within a healthcare fitness to practice environment. You should possess strong analytical skills and relevant technical expertise, with a clear commitment to further developing these capabilities. Prior experience in case management is essential.
