An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Professional Negligence Partner to join a successful and ambitious team in London. This is a strategic lateral hire for a Partner with a strong track record in professional negligence, professional indemnity and insurance litigation, who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their practice and play a key role in the continued growth of the team.
The successful candidate will act for leading insurer clients on a varied portfolio of complex professional liability matters, with a particular focus on claims involving solicitors, financial advisers, insurance brokers and other professionals. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality and commercially significant matters while developing and strengthening existing client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice.
The Candidate
- The firm is seeking an established Partner with a strong reputation and proven track record in professional negligence and/or professional indemnity litigation.
- A strong and established practice in professional negligence, professional indemnity and/or insurance litigation.
- Significant experience acting for insurers and professional clients.
- A proven track record of handling complex and high-value professional liability claims.
- Strong relationships with insurer clients, brokers and/or professionals.
- A demonstrable track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Excellent technical and commercial skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
