Overview: This opportunity is for a high-performing and fast-expanding practice acting for major insurers and policyholders on a broad range of complex and high-value claims.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of defendant EL/PL claims
- Assist partners on complex and high-profile litigation
- Handle pre-action and litigated personal injury and property damage claims
- Advise on regulatory investigations and prosecutions involving the HSE, police and CQC
- Attend coroner's inquests
- Assist with policy coverage disputes and interpretation issues
- Work on claims ranging from fast-track matters through to multi-million-pound, multi-party disputes
- Deal primarily with instructions from insurers on behalf of policyholders, plus direct non-insurance related instructions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 Years PQE as a Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor
- Strong experience handling Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims
- Excellent technical and drafting ability
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- A proactive, ambitious and organised approach
- Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills
