THE ROLE:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a growing disputes practice and play a key role in developing its work across the public sector. You will advise a range of organisations on complex contentious matters, with a particular focus on procurement challenges, contractual disputes, governance issues and wider commercial litigation. The role will involve taking responsibility for significant matters from strategy through to resolution, developing trusted relationships with clients and working collaboratively with colleagues across related areas of law. There will also be considerable scope to contribute to the growth of the practice through networking, business development and identifying new opportunities across the market.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from experienced Litigation Solicitors with a strong background in commercial disputes and experience of working on matters involving public sector organisations. Particular experience of procurement disputes or challenges arising from tendering processes would be highly advantageous. You should have excellent technical and analytical skills, together with the confidence to take the lead on complex matters and provide commercially focused advice to clients. A proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development is important, alongside experience of supervising or supporting more junior colleagues. Candidates with an established network of contacts will be of particular interest, although this is not essential where there is a strong track record and clear potential to develop the practice.
