FAMILY SOLICITOR – LOCUM, PART TIME, CIRCA 12 MONTH FTC, COMPETITIVE SALARY, 8 + YEARS’ PQE, BEDFORDSHIRE. Opportunity for a part-time locum Family Solicitor to provide approximately 12 months of maternity cover starting next year.
Responsibilities
- The locum will handle a caseload of private family law matters, including children’s cases, TOLATA disputes, and financial remedy proceedings.
- They will conduct client consultations, offering clear and practical legal guidance, and will advance cases independently with minimal oversight.
Qualifications
- Applications are open to qualified solicitors with 8+ years PQE in family law, confident in independently handling both children and financial remedy matters, and experienced or familiar with TOLATA cases.

- You will offer strong client care and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a developing office environment and contribute to its growth, and available to commence cover from 2026.
