Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients in Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters.
- Handle a varied caseload, including matters relating to mental capacity or safeguarding.
- Work closely with clients, families, carers, and external organisations to deliver holistic support.
- Visit clients at home, care home, hospital or hospice.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, including apprentices and trainee solicitors.
- Manage own caseload and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a busy, growing department.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Court of Protection.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent client care and telephone skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle, or suitable transport.
