Salary: £80K – £90K
Our client is a leading global consultancy specialising in engineering and development. Their mission is to drive positive societal change by prioritising social outcomes in every aspect of their work, with a relentless focus on transforming the businesses and communities of their clients.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of jurisdictions, from well-established regions like India, to rapidly developing areas such as the Middle East, and emerging markets in Africa. You’ll gain hands-on experience in various legal fields, including contract reviews, construction law, corporate law, cross-border transactions, disputes, claims, and insurance.
Additionally, you will be involved in International Development projects aimed at enhancing the living standards in emerging countries, with a focus on improving agriculture, healthcare, or education systems.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor and will have approximately 5-9 PQE, gained in both private practice and in-house roles, with a strong emphasis on construction law (particularly with JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke contracts). A proven track record of providing legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in civil law systems in the Middle East, will be highly beneficial. Experience living and working in the Middle East is particularly desirable for this position.
