A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Swansea is seeking an experienced and ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join its growing Lifetime Planning team. This opportunity would suit either a Senior Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career or an established Director/Partner seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on complex private client matters, leading client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.
The Role
- You will advise a broad range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, on:
- Wills and succession planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Estate administration and probate matters
- Complex and high-value estates
- Agricultural Property Relief (APR) and Business Property Relief (BPR) issues
- Asset protection and wealth preservation strategies
- You will also work closely with colleagues across other practice areas on multidisciplinary matters while helping to mentor and develop junior lawyers and advisers within the team.
About You
- Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with significant experience in private client work who can demonstrate:
- Strong technical expertise in trusts, estate planning and estate administration
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- The ability to manage a varied and busy caseload
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- A professional and collaborative approach
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
- Ambition to progress and contribute to the ongoing success of the team
- STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
