Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a varied caseload of property damage matters, managing files through all stages of the claims process.
- Deliver a high standard of client service while ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and contribute to the successful management of caseloads across the department.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with insurer clients, brokers, experts and other key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior lawyers and assist with their ongoing development and supervision.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of eight years' post‑qualification experience in property damage litigation.
- Strong experience handling third‑party property damage claims, subrogated recoveries, product liability disputes and policy coverage matters.
- A solid technical understanding of commercial insurance law and litigation practice.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service and case management.
