JOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ PQE
LOCATION: Greater Manchester

THE ROLE:
As Head of Private Client, you will have overall responsibility for leading, managing and expanding the firm’s private client department. The role encompasses oversight of a broad range of services including wills, probate, trusts, estate and succession planning, estate administration, Court of Protection matters, deputyship management, inheritance tax planning, asset protection, lasting powers of attorney and compensation trusts. You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the department while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-focused legal services. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent client service standards, managing and developing the team, overseeing day to day departmental operations and driving business development initiatives. In addition, you will ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and professional standards, contributing to the firm’s strong reputation and continued growth.
THE CANDIDATE:
The firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor with significant experience in private client law, supported by strong leadership and team management capabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in business development and client relationship management. Completion of the STEP Diploma, or active progress towards qualification, is required.
