Responsibilities
- Manage a varied Housing Law caseload, providing clear, practical legal advice and maintaining high standards of client care and communication, with responsibility for correspondence, negotiations and advocacy where required.
- Ensure accurate time recording and timely billing, maintain compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements and keep up to date with developments in Housing Law, while contributing to the wider success of the department.
Requirements
- Applications are welcomed from Qualified Solicitors with 1+ year PQE in Housing Law, with strong knowledge of Legal Aid, including CCMS, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are essential, alongside confidence in advocacy and negotiation.
- You will also have access to appropriate supervision and opportunities to develop your expertise into Community Care, Public Law and Court of Protection work.
