We are seeking an experienced Professional Indemnity Claims Solicitor to join a growing and highly regarded claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with strong professional indemnity experience to manage a varied caseload involving claims against SRA-regulated and FCA-regulated professionals. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment, handling complex matters while maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing portfolio of professional indemnity claims from inception to resolution
- Investigating liability, coverage, and quantum issues
- Advising clients and stakeholders on legal and strategic matters
- Negotiating settlements and supporting litigation where required
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with professional indemnity claims experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance law, contract law, and litigation processes
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
- Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Proficient in case management systems and related technology
- Committed to delivering a high standard of professional service and ethical practice
- Experience within the insurance industry is advantageous
