A specialist boutique law firm based in London is seeking to recruit two Senior Associates 8+ years PQE to join its growing office-based team. The firm is recognised for its expertise in defending claims against financial and legal professionals and advising clients on complex regulatory and professional conduct matters. Acting for a broad range of professional clients, the practice handles high-value, sensitive, and reputationally significant disputes across a wide variety of sectors. This opportunity would suit experienced solicitors seeking a high-quality specialist practice with direct client exposure, intellectually challenging work, and a collaborative environment.

The Role

The successful candidates will work on a broad range of contentious and advisory matters, including:

  • Professional negligence claims
  • Regulatory investigations and proceedings
  • Disciplinary and conduct matters
  • Coverage and indemnity issues
  • Complex dispute resolution involving professional and financial services clients

The roles will involve managing matters with a high degree of autonomy while working closely with senior leadership and key clients.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales with 8+ years PQE
  • Strong experience defending claims against professionals, particularly within:
    • Legal professionals
    • Financial advisers
    • Accountants
    • Insurance brokers
    • Other regulated professionals
  • Experience handling regulatory or disciplinary matters
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and client management skills
  • A commercially minded and proactive approach
  • The ability to manage complex and sensitive matters confidently
  • Experience gained within a recognised professional indemnity, regulatory, disputes, or insurance litigation practice will be highly regarded.
