THE ROLE:
- This role offers a broad and interesting remit across risk, regulatory and professional standards work.
- You will work closely with teams across the business, providing practical guidance on a wide range of legal and compliance matters while helping the firm navigate an evolving regulatory landscape.
- The role also plays an important part in developing and embedding policies, procedures and firmwide best practice initiatives.
- You will bring strong legal and regulatory knowledge, sound judgement and the confidence to advise colleagues at all levels of the business.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- The successful candidate will be someone who combines technical expertise with a practical and commercial approach.
- You will be calm under pressure, highly organised and able to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves building trusted relationships across the firm and working collaboratively with colleagues in both legal and business support teams.
- Experience or familiarity with areas such as AML, GDPR and data protection, SRA Standards & Regulations, professional ethics, client terms, complaints handling and professional indemnity matters will be highly beneficial.
- Exposure to quality standards, internal audit processes or ISO frameworks would also be an advantage.
