Job Description
Real Estate Solicitor (Professional Support Lawyer), 5+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £Competitive (DOE) – This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with innovation, training, and knowledge management. JOB REF: 1058.
THE ROLE:
• Develop and maintain know-how: Create precedents, practice notes, and automated templates – including AI-powered due diligence and reporting tools – with a focus on commercial property.
• Lead knowledge development: Design and deliver training programmes, workshops, and interactive seminars.
• Collaborate across the firm: Share knowledge with PSLs in other practice areas, work with Business Transformation and Innovation teams, and support Risk & Compliance.
• Support business growth – produce articles and thought leadership for external audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with external organisations
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Professional Support Lawyers with a minimum of 5 Years PQE with solid experience in commercial real estate law and practice
• A commercial, pragmatic mindset with the ability to design and improve processes.
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and a methodical, detail-driven approach.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner.
• Prior PSL experience is an advantage, but not essential – applications from fee earners with a genuine commitment to moving into this role would be welcomed.
