The firm is seeking an experienced Funds Lawyer to advise a diverse client base, including but not limited to banks, investment firms, custodians, fund administrators, corporate trustees, payment service providers, investment platforms, angel investor networks, family offices, and fintech businesses.
You will work on a broad spectrum of fund-related matters, advising on the establishment, structuring and operation of investment funds and other collective investment funds. This rapidly growing practice encompasses a wide range of matters relating to fund structures, including venture capital, real estate, private equity, nominee and contractual funds, REITs, RIFs, and pension funds, as well as investments into / by said funds.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ PQE and substantial technical expertise in investment funds, with particular specialism in real estate and venture capital funds. You will have proven experience in managing fund transactions, including leading projects and overseeing teams, along with a strong commitment to supporting the development of junior lawyers. The role also requires active involvement in business development activities, including preparing pitches and tender responses, and engaging with both existing and prospective clients. In addition, you will contribute to broader practice management initiatives and the continued growth of the team.
