Join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team at a well-established firm as a Contentious Probate Solicitor, NQ-3 PQE, in Buckinghamshire. This role offers high-quality work, early responsibility, hybrid working, and excellent career development.
As part of a specialist Contentious Probate team, you will handle a broad range of complex wills, trusts, and estate disputes. Your responsibilities will include advising on matters such as:
- Inheritance Act claims
- Challenges to the validity of wills
- Executor and personal representative disputes
- Trust disputes
- Estate administration issues
- Property-related estate claims
You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing practical and commercially focused advice on strategy and costs. Your tasks will involve preparing correspondence and court documents, instructing counsel where appropriate, and progressing matters through negotiation, mediation, settlement, or trial.
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with between NQ-3 years' PQE and experience in contentious probate or civil litigation. A seat in contentious probate during training will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting and client care skills, a sound understanding of civil litigation procedures, and the ability to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision. A practical, commercially minded approach to dispute resolution, along with an interest in business development and building client relationships, will be highly valued.
