THE ROLE:
The firm are seeking an experienced lawyer to join its well-established Media & Entertainment practice, bringing valuable expertise in contract negotiations for actors, distributors, intermediaries, and other industry players. The role encompasses general production and event agreements, licensing matters, dispute resolution, and financing for productions β with the team previously having dealt with everything from complex stunts, to securing IP rights and overseeing challenging Tax matters.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of 8 yearsβ PQE, with solid technical experience in handling legal matters for film, music, television, social media or production — whether this be in negotiating influencer contracts, advising producers, supporting broadcasters, or safeguarding IP β you will already be working within the entertainment industry in some capacity.
You must be ambitious and ready to shape and lead a growing practice, keen to take on exciting new challenges with confidence. Outstanding client service, a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a talent for business development are essential to succeed in this role.
