Regulatory Paralegal – 6 Month Contract, London/Hybrid, £35,000 per annum. THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join a busy and high-performing Fitness to Practise team on an initial six-month contract, with the possibility of securing a permanent position. Working as part of a specialist investigations team, you will manage your own varied caseload involving serious concerns relating to the conduct and competence of regulated professionals. You will be responsible for assessing risk, gathering and reviewing evidence, liaising with a range of stakeholders and progressing matters through the regulatory process in accordance with statutory requirements. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you will prepare cases for panel consideration, manage competing priorities and ensure matters are progressed efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism and public protection.
THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from candidates with a minimum of 18 months' experience gained within investigations, regulatory casework or litigation. You will have experience managing your own caseload and possess excellent analytical and organisational skills, together with the ability to prioritise effectively in a demanding environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information. You must be confident working independently whilst contributing positively within a collaborative team environment. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to successfully complete DBS and pre-employment screening checks.
THE PACKAGE: This hybrid opportunity requires attendance in the London office two to three days per week, with the remainder of your time working remotely.
