A leading law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Barrister to join its specialist Healthcare team in Liverpool.
The appointed Lawyer will be working with clients in the health and social care sectors, specifically focusing on inquests, including advocacy. You can expect to be advising on public law issues such as public and patient involvement and consultation, governance and constitutional issues, judicial review and human rights. You will also have the opportunity to handle some Court of Protection matters. You will be working within a successful team of lawyers specialising in the healthcare sector and will have the ability to identify new products and work streams relevant to clients while developing new business.
Responsibilities:- Advise on inquests and related public law issues for clients in the health and social care sectors, including advocacy.
- Address public and patient involvement and consultation, governance and constitutional issues, judicial review and human rights.
- Possibly handle Court of Protection matters.
- Work within a healthcare sector team and identify new products and work streams relevant to clients while developing new business.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Barrister or Solicitor with a proven track record in Inquests work. Any exposure to Court of Protection and working with clients in the healthcare sector would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. What is vital is that you are a team player with exceptional communication skills with a focus on client service and care.
