A reputable firm are looking for a proactive and professional Legal Secretary to provide high quality support to our fee earners.

THE ROLE

The appointed legal professional will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, including audio typing and the preparation of correspondence, legal documents, lease extensions, deeds, completion statements, and Land Registry forms. You will manage the opening and closing of client files, handle telephone and email enquiries, monitor incoming correspondence, and respond to routine client matters. In addition, you will assist with billing processes, including requesting cheques, and arranging bank transfers.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant, ideally within a property or conveyancing environment, along with excellent audio typing and document production skills. You will be highly organised with strong administrative abilities and exceptional attention to detail, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using the Land Registry Portal. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, together with the ability to prioritise workloads, work effectively under pressure, and maintain a professional, client focused approach.
