THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Legal Counsel / Solicitor with a minimum of two year’s Probate / Private Client experience to help deliver modern, efficient and empathetic probate and estate administration services. Managing your own caseload of probate matters, your role will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
- Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.
ABOUT YOU: Legal Executive with a minimum of two year’s experience in probate or private client law. Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services. A confident communicator who can support clients through emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and clarity. Proven experience managing end‑to‑end probate and estate administration cases. Ability to handle complex or high‑value estates with minimal supervision. A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive team culture.
