This is a key role for a senior commercial lawyer who enjoys working closely with the business and leading on complex, high-value agreements. The Legal Counsel will take ownership of negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including sales, procurement and concession-style agreements, with a strong focus on matters connected to France. The role requires sound commercial judgement, confidence operating independently, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading negotiations and drafting complex commercial contracts for customers and suppliers
  • Advising business teams on legal risk and practical, commercially focused solutions
  • Working closely with stakeholders and legal colleagues across Europe
  • Managing workload autonomously while meeting tight and shifting deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer (7+ years PQE) in a European civil law jurisdiction
  • Fluent in French and English, and/or significant experience working on French matters or contracts
  • Strong background in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
  • Commercially minded, detail-focused and comfortable working with minimal supervision

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer with French language skills or France-based experience to play a visible role within a collaborative, international legal team.
