OVERVIEW
This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised Insurance & Risk team with a strong and growing reputation across the London and international insurance markets. You will advise insurers, MGAs, reinsurers and other market participants on a broad range of complex coverage issues, claims and insurance disputes, with a particular focus on high-value property damage claims, coverage disputes and subrogated recoveries.
Your role will also involve drafting and reviewing insurance policy wordings, particularly in relation to property damage risks, and managing complex disputes before the Commercial Court and the Technology & Construction Court. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will provide commercially focused advice to a diverse client base while also playing an active role in business development through client seminars, articles, thought leadership and wider market engagement.
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with a minimum of 7 years' PQE and significant insurance or reinsurance experience gained within a recognised City firm, specialist insurance practice or a comparable in‑house insurance environment. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, a thorough understanding of the London insurance market and excellent client relationship and communication skills.
