Residential Conveyancing Solicitor | 2+ years PQE | Herefordshire | Competitive Salary | Bonus Scheme | An opportunity to join a long-standing legal firm has just opened, they are seeking a Solicitor with experience working within Residential Conveyancing law.
THE OPPORTUNITY
A firm in the West of the country is looking to appoint a solicitor/CLIEx or someone with a similar background to work at the Herefordshire office. The successful candidate will be expected to understand relevant legislation and policies, allowing them to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. There is also the opportunity for hybrid working, with the possibility of a relocation package for the right candidate.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages, buy-to-let transactions and transfers of equity
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
- Reviewing contracts, raising enquiries, checking searches and resolving title issues
- Building strong relationships with estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
- Providing clear, practical advice and delivering an excellent standard of client care
You will be a confident and proactive Solicitor with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
THE CANDIDATE
Applications are welcomed from candidates with at least 2 years of experience working within Residential Conveyancing. The successful candidate must have qualities such as:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and liaise effectively with estate agents and mortgage brokers.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring contracts, property titles and search results are reviewed accurately.
- Good knowledge of the local property market, including regional issues, local authority searches and common conveyancing challenges.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to resolve issues such as missing planning permissions and title defects.
