About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a well-established and supportive firm, specialising in Care Proceedings and public law children matters.
This position offers genuine flexibility, it can be carried out on a fully remote basis or with a hybrid arrangement from the South West office, making it ideal for those seeking balance while continuing to handle high-quality, meaningful family law work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of public law children and care proceedings matters
- Represent parents, children, and guardians in court
- Liaise effectively with local authorities, Cafcass, and other professionals
- Provide empathetic, practical, and accurate legal advice
- Ensure compliance with Legal Aid and SRA regulations
- Maintain excellent client care and professional standards
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in care proceedings and public law children work
- Confident advocate with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy caseload independently
- Children Panel membership is desirable but not essential
