This role delivers expert legal advice, representation, and advocacy for Union members, while also supporting colleagues and contributing to training and resource development. You will be responsible for conducting claims and litigation on behalf of solicitors, representing and advocating for members before tribunals, courts, hearings, and regulatory bodies, while also providing legal advice and guidance to colleagues on issues affecting teachers. Additionally, you will contribute to staff and member training, and prepare written documents, articles, and resources on legal matters.

The organisation is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with proven expertise in employment law, regulatory proceedings, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in case management and litigation, alongside strong advocacy skills before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
