This part time, fixed term role offers flexible hybrid working and the chance to join a supportive specialist team handling high quality claimant clinical negligence work. An experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer is sought to provide maternity cover within a highly regarded Clinical Negligence team. Working on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week), you will manage a caseload of approximately 30 claimant matters.
The successful candidate will handle a range of complex and rewarding cases, including misdiagnosis claims, psychiatric injury matters and fatal accident claims. You will take responsibility for progressing files independently, whilst benefiting from the support and guidance of experienced senior lawyers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and analysing evidence
- Identifying legal issues
- Preparing schedules of loss, witness statements and Particulars of Claim
- Instructing Counsel and medical experts
- Liaising with defendants
- Delivering a consistently high standard of client care throughout the litigation process
Applications are open to qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' experience handling claimant Clinical Negligence matters.
