THE ROLE
- This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of complex, high-value probate disputes, where strategic thinking and technical excellence are key.
- You will manage a diverse and stimulating contentious probate caseload from inception through to resolution, advising a broad client base that includes individuals, executors, trustees and beneficiaries.
- Handling a full range of contentious probate matters, including will validity disputes, inheritance claims and trust disputes.
- Providing clear, strategic advice to clients on complex and sensitive issues.
- Supervising and mentoring more junior members of the team, contributing to their development and the strength of the wider practice.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Applications are sought from Contentious Probate Solicitors with a minimum of 4 yearsβ PQE.
- STEP and/or ACTAPS membership, or actively working towards accreditation (desirable).
- Strong technical expertise combined with sound commercial awareness.
- Confidence managing complex litigation and building trusted client relationships.
